As more events unfold, you find yourself on a quest to track down five "Star Maps" that will lead you to Sith's leader, Darth Malak. From there you must rescue a Jedi named Bastila, who possesses a rare ability that could help spell the end of the Sith. Under attack from the Sith, you make a hasty escape to a planet called Taris. In the beginning it seems like you're merely a highly skilled newcomer to the republic, but your significance to the current state of affairs is revealed to be so much more. The game lets you play the part of a character that ultimately decides the fate of the universe. KoTOR is a magnificent mlange of story, gameplay, and acting that takes many fascinating elements of the Star Wars universe and combines them with BioWare's penchant for first-rate interactive storytelling. It also stars the most adorable Twi'lek I've ever laid eyes on. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic ( KoTOR) is clearly the best RPG for Xbox, certainly one of the best games released in 2003, and definitely one of the best Star Wars games LucasArts has ever released. Renowned RPG developer BioWare has delivered a title that will satisfy all three. And a deviant subsection of the two groups has been aching for a game that features a nubile Twi'lek teen.
